Cedar Valley of Iowa (December 2015) – The Alliance & Chamber will host its third Cedar Valley Global Awareness tour with a second trip to China on October 4-12, 2016. This will be a cost-effective opportunity for the business community to become familiar with some of China’s major cities, experience their centuries-old customs and history, and gain a better understanding of Chinese business practices. Participants will witness China’s rapidly changing economy and expanding role in the global marketplace. The Alliance & Chamber invites all interested professionals to join them for this unique immersion into the Chinese culture.
Individual business introductions may be arranged with Chinese companies on behalf of Alliance & Chamber trip participants. Requests should be made through Sue Beach, Director of Investor Relations. Beach, the trip organizer, will represent the Alliance & Chamber in China.
“On the 2015 China tour, I experienced the influence of China – both in production and consumption, and furthermore in finance and the global environmental impact of their growth,” says Steve Dust, CEO of the Alliance & Chamber, “China is the second largest economy in the world and the number one overseas export market for the U.S. In the Cedar Valley, we have decisions made on a continual basis about investments in and purchases from China and the Asia markets. I strongly recommend group travel to the business professional as an excellent introduction to China.”
